Belle & Sebastian have released their ninth studio album Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance via Matador Records / Remote Control. The album is the long awaited follow up to 2010’s Write About Love. Listen to latest single ‘The Cat With The Cream’ HERE
The ninth studio album from Belle and Sebastian was produced and mixed at Maze Studios in Atlanta by Ben H. Allen III, (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, Deerhunter). Additional mixing took place in Glasgow with longtime collaborator Tony Doogan before being mastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios.

As previously announced, after a four year absence since their last Australian tour Belle & Sebastian will return to Australia for a five date national headline tour.
Belle & Sebastian rocked The Tivoli in Brisbane on Wednesday 28 January, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday 29 January, the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on Sunday 1 February and the Astor Theatre in Perth on Tuesday 3 February plus a very special show at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo as a part of the Twilight at Toronga series on Saturday 31st of January.
The band will be joined on the tour by Melbourne outfit Twerps. Tickets for all Belle & Sebastian tour dates are selling fast with tickets for the Toronga Twilight show expected to sell out in the next couple of days.
